One way to stop Scholar's Mate

I'm sure we'll be hearing from Messrs. Nakamura and Parham soon.

Another good way to play against this: 1.e4 e5 2.Qh5 Nf6! the idea being to punish White's break of principle with rapid development. White will lose at least 3 tempi with the Queen after 3.Qxe5+ Be7.

Nakamura lost a short game with White in this variation. http://chessmind.powerblogs.com/posts/1114752346.shtml

2...Nf6 would make a nice blog post! I had not seen that Nakamura game....

I had been playing 2...Nc6 3.Bc4 g6 4.Qf3 f5!?
