1...Rxf2 2.Rxf2 Qxg3+ 0-1

1...Rxf2?! 2.Qc8+! Kg7 3.Qc3+ prevents ..Qxg3+. Black is still better after 3...Rf6, but White has excellent drawing chances after 4.Rxf6.

There is another move that puts White out of misery.

D'oh! You are quite right - of course the way to go is 1...Qxg3+! 2.fxg3 (2.Kh1 Rxf2 3.Qc8+ Kg7 and wins) Rg2+ 3.Kh1 Rh2+ 4.Kg1 Rag2#.
