Kasparov arrested, beaten in Moscow

Story in the New York Times (it was part of the lead story on the website this a.m.)  Context in ChessBase.

Rumor has it that Kasparov may soon be visiting Chicago. Best wishes to the former world champion for good health and a speedy release.  (P.S.: he's been released.)

i'm starting to 'get' your humor mr rhine lol but i have to work at it . . i think romney is a riot too especially when he's abroad (notice how i tried to outdo you)

and to think i defended this man once from the virulence of another chessplayer's criticism . . .where is the love (sounds like a 70's song the way i put that) and more than that where is the tolerance . .and even more than that why are most of the comments here 0 comments. .aha! i figured it out . . and now i must say goodbye!
